Contemporary Art in 2010 "brought four dozen works of Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics and Printmaking from the following authors: Ana Pais de Oliveira, José Artur, Nate Navarro, Emanuel de Souza, Flávio Silvestre, G. Rueda, Gil Maia, Jorge Pé-Curto , Maluda, Manuel Cargaleiro, Maria Flores, Marlene Teixeira, Black Moses Paul, Nadir Afonso, Paulo Ossião Paul Pina, Pedro Castanheira, Roger Timothy TXO Irujo, Victoria Cano, Vieira da Silva and Volpi. With this show, the Estoril Casino Gallery opens its exhibition program for this year, with names that are references in Contemporary Painting, such as teachers and TXO Irujo Victoria Cano, professors respectively at the Universities of Bilbao and Valencia, Nadir Afonso, the painter of the great cities of the world, the Estoril Casino Gallery will honor this year on the occasion of his ninetieth birthday, and other names like Manuel Cargaleiro, Maluda, Brazilian Volpi, sculptors Roger Timothy Jorge Pé-Curto and Moses or the young Ana Pais de Oliveira, Paulo Pina, Maria Flores, Gil Maia, Pedro Castanheira, or Diego Navarro. The exhibitions are always a positive factor, which is to show the different languages of artistic practice, which at present are the dominant neo-expressionism and figuration.
Was open to the public in the Art Gallery of Casino Estoril, an exhibition of Painting, Sculpture, Drawing and Printmaking, some of the artists, who usually exhibit their work at the gallery. They are presented in three generations of authors. In painting and drawing, some of which, over the years, proved in the Halls of spring as Domingos Loureiro, a painter who has distinguished himself by the use of wooden boards in support of the eternal theme of landscape and that reference was in Arco, 2007 in Madrid. Mariana Sampaio, in compositions in which the humor is an unmistakable presence.
Ana Pais de Oliveira one of the most prized newly licensed students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Oporto honored in 2007 with the 1st Prize of the Salon of spring and that a few months ago won first prize "Skill and Art" at the national level, established by 10 municipalities, Maria Flores, Joao Pires, Gonçalo Almeida and Flavio Silvestre, references to register, among the most recent revelations in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon, the advances it has brought in its work in line with a quality and original neofigurativismo .
Also in the area of painting, also participate in this exhibition Luis Jacinto, who entered the big door by Portuguese art from the prestigious Gallery 111. Paul Ossião, lord and master in dealing with watercolor. Alfredo Luz, a poet of color, in building compositions, marked by lyricism and charm of the themes. Diego Navarro, recently upheld in Viana do Castelo as native son, with an exhibition themed site, which has been remarkably successful.
All great sculptors are masters in dealing with the design and John Cutileiro is one such example, as is apparent in two works presented. The Art Gallery of Casino Estoril is one of the spaces in which our country has dispensed more attention to the Sculpture by the projects that have supported, as was the Edinfor Prize for Sculpture, which in its four editions had a few dozen renowned authors and above all, young sculptors.
Five of them are present in this exhibition. They are, Timothy Roger, Jorge Pé-Curto, Gabriel Seixas, Carlos Ramos and Ricardo Giant. Honouring once more disclosure always given for this picture gallery to the authentic and not scanned, twin brother of reproduction lithographic we present within this mode, works by Gil Teixeira Lopes, the Portuguese writer most internationally award-winning, Spanish G.
